If catchy guitar riffs and gorgeous melodies that will be in your head for days are what you're after, you need look no further than acoustic pop singer-songwriter Tess Beighton. Currently heading for her final year of a pop composition degree at Leeds College of Music, she is extremely prolific, with over a hundred songs to show for the tender age of twenty. While her sound ranges from mellow to funky, from upbeat to bluesy, it is always mature for her age, and is compared to the likes of KT Tunstall and Missy Higgins. Tess also has plenty of live experience, having spent many years gigging with a successful local band in her Lincolnshire hometown, and she has picked up her considerable recording and production skills along the way. Tess is currently performing regularly in Leeds with her band (aka Tess Beighton & Company) who play her original songs.
